Michael Aronov has won his first Tony Award! He takes home the prize in the Best Featured Actor in a Play category for his performance as Uri Savir, director-general of the foreign ministry, in J.T. Rogers' Oslo. Aronov's win was announced at the Tonys ceremony on June 11 at Radio City Music Hall. The other nominees in the category were Danny DeVito in The Price, Nathan Lane in The Front Page, Richard Thomas in The Little Foxes and John Douglas Thompson in Jitney. Oslo is set to run at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre through July 2.

Aronov wins the Tony in his second Broadway appearance. He made his Broadway debut in the 2012 revival of Clifford Odets' Golden Boy, also directed by Oslo helmer Bartlett Sher. Aronov first collaborated with playwright Rogers on the off-Broadway play Blood and Gifts. Aronov's other stage credits include The Late Henry Moss, Miss Julie, Spain and the off-Broadway debut of Oslo.
